A hardworking politician, Matt Hancock probably had no idea what he was getting into when he accepted to become the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in 2018. After all, who could’ve predicted that, by the end of 2019, the world would dive head-first into a major, unprecedented public health crisis? For obvious reasons, Hancock is one of the United Kingdom’s most active (and criticized) political figures of the hour. While some have praised his vaccination program, many have been critical of his endorsement of Boris Johnson and Health Secretary decisions.
