Peter Jackson – $500 Million

The world became better acquainted with New Zealand film director Peter Jackson through his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy of films. However, before that, he’d worked on other critically acclaimed productions like Heavenly Creatures and The Frighteners. Add in The Hobbit trilogy of films and his role as a writer/producer on films like the 2018 Mortal Engines, Jackson has easily built his wealth up to $500 million. Jackson is quite generous and he chooses to donate to charity towards causes like stem cell research.  He’s also an aviation enthusiast and he owns more than 40 airworthy warbirds from the World War I era.
