How does Phoebe Cates manage to look so fresh and youthful in her mid-50s? Phoebe used to be an actress and a singer who abandoned the entertainment world and entered retirement in 2001. She did work on one project in 2015, a video game called Lego Dimensions. Cates is most famous for her roles on Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins. After these two successful films, she appeared in a few other movies such as Date with an Angel, Bright Lights, Big City, and Heart of Dixie.
