Alison King, 48 – Actress

The winner of the 2012 British Soap Awards’ Best Actress distinction, Alison King is an English actress who has also worked as a model. The bombshell brunette from Leicester is mainly known for her role as Carla Connor in the Coronation Street soap. She’s been playing Connor since 2004, making it to roughly 1,600 episodes as of 2021.

In a recent Coronation Street episode, King (or should we say Carla Connor?) raised some eyebrows by wearing the same dress Meghan Markle used in her iconic 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview. The coincidence was highlighted by fans of the soap all over Twitter.
