Dawn Wells, 81 – Actress

In the ’60s, actress Dawn Wells was known as one of the world’s most beautiful women. She captivated the audiences with her role as Mary Ann Summers in the Gilligan’s Island comedy series. Later, she appeared in movies such as Lover’s Knot, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, and Rescue from Gilligan’s Island. The 2010s, however, were not particularly kind to Wells. Stable acting roles became increasingly rare, and she went through major financial trouble. In 2018, a GoFundMe page dedicated to helping Wells was set-up by fans. Over the last 10 years, she’s been working mainly in short movies and sporadic TV series’ appearances.
