Ricky Gervais has been one of the top stand-up comedians of the last decade, and clearly, his weight wasn’t something that troubled him. However, it came to a point where he’d packed on a lot of extra pounds, and as he claimed, he was tired of it. Gervais changed his nutrition plan and started exercising, walking or jogging almost every day. Just a while later, he had managed to shed 40 lbs, and he was super-excited over it. In 2018 though, he realized that he had started gaining weight again, so, funnily, he challenged his Twitter followers to insult him, so that he could find the mental strength to become slimmer once more.
