Setting The Standard for Music Festivals

There are countless Woodstock pictures out there but few as iconic as the one shown above. A young woman named Jackie Barg is seen enjoying her time in the festival by sitting amidst the crowd and peacefully blowing soap bubbles. To this day, soap bubbles are still a regularly-used prop by festival-goers.
Fifty years after the historical events that took place in Woodstock in 1969, the practices and ideas seen at the festival can still be found in similar events. The Woodstock Festival has set the standard for what a music festival should be, and Jackie Barg’s picture is a perfect symbol of that exemplary status.
