Fun For Everyone

Although Woodstock will forever be associated with the hippie sub-culture, a lot of different influences and music genres could be found at the festival. The line-up included the world’s best artists—from contemporary folk to psychedelic rock & roll, from Hindustani Classical music to… funk!
To represent the contagious grooves and hooks of funk music, the band Sly and the Family Stone was invited to the main stage. The 7-member band known for songs such as Dance to the Music and Everyday People grabbed the audience by the hippie necklace with a powerful and sweaty performance.
