The Peace & Love Generation

After four straight days of Woodstock partying, most of the crowd spent the morning sleeping, gathering some strength, or enjoying the festival’s final moments. In another example of iconic photography during the festival, one young couple tries to stay warm under a blanket.
More than the end of a music festival, the last day of Woodstock marked the end of a generation. The crazy and revolutionary youth of the ’60s was about to get old, but the culture of peace and love would live forever as a philosophy and lifestyle. To this day, people all over the world are still trying to reliveĀ Woodstock‘s inspiring way-of-life.
