Lunar Meteorite – $300 Million/Kg

The early 1980s saw the discovery of Lunar Meteorites, which are stones ejected from the moon by craters formed through impact over 100,000 years ago. Following their emission, these stones traveled around the Earth’s orbit before finally being pulled down by gravity.
Meteorites are interestingly found only in deserts, an occurrence that experts have been unable to explain to date. For moon rocks stumbled upon in Africa, individuals have laid claim to them for the sake of conducting research. In the U.S, however, these stones are considered public property the government handles.
