Certain elements are more valuable than others. but usually, the most valuable elements have plenty of uses. But, in this regard, Rubidium’s case is totally the opposite.
Seeing as it is a very reactive substance there are a few risks in utilizing this atomic structure and its derivative compounds. They could possibly ignite just by being in contact with air. Maybe it is this element of danger that puts the price of this solid at nearly two thousand five hundred dollars per kilogram. Perhaps the price will drop one day if a wider range of applications for this matter can be discovered.
