Meteorite Chondrite – $400/Kg

Generally, we’re not very impressed when things fall from the sky. Yet, when those items descend from outer space, they suddenly become rather valuable. Enter meteorite chondrite.
Now, chondrite isn’t particularly noteworthy when it comes to price and will probably set you back about four hundred dollars per kilo for a good sample. Yet when the plummeting stone has an interesting tale behind it, this ordinary space rock’s worth can increase dramatically. Such as the two-hundred-dollar per gram cost of an H6 chondrite that smashed into a Chevy’s boot in 1992!
