Time For Country Joe and the Fish

Rock band Country Joe and The Fish formed in 1965. They were due to play their set after Joe Cocker. However, it was delayed by two hours because of the rain. They resumed the program once it was safe to play again.
The lead singer of the band Joe McDonald arrived one day before the start of the festival as he wanted to experience watching all the bands perform. He was asked to do an impromptu show while they were setting up the stage. So he reluctantly sang a few acoustic songs before picking up the mood with “I-Feel-Like-I’m-Fixin’-To-Die,” which became an anti-war anthem.
