Arlo Guthrie Stuns In His Shades

Arlo Guthrie is the eldest son of the famed folk musician Woody Guthrie, but he made his own success in the music industry. Before performing at Woodstock, he had just released his second studio album and was already a rising star.
Guthrie opened his set with “Coming Into Los Angeles,” from his second album. His type of music is known for protesting against social injustice, but this particular song was widely banned from the radio because of its lyrics about dope smuggling in London. He continued his father’s legacy in music by touring with his dad’s close friend, Pete Seeger, for the next 40 years.
