Johnny Winter And His Mean Town Blues

Blues legend Johnny Winter started his set on Sunday at midnight and played for 80 minutes. Despite Woodstock originally planning to be a three-day event, it ended up stretching well into Monday. He played “Leland Mississippi Blues” and “Mean Town Blues.”
In 2009, he released the album “The Woodstock Experience,” which featured eight songs he performed during the festival. Winter was professionally active until his last show in 2014 at the Cahors Blues Festival in France. He was found dead in his hotel room in Zürich, although the cause of his passing was not officially released.
