Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Serenade The Crowd

It was the second time the folk-rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash ever performed together at Woodstock, and what a place to do it. The trio took to stage around 3 a.m. on the second day, and their set ended up running longer than expected due to the thunderstorms.
Canadian singer Neil Young joined the group on stage during the acoustic part of the show, but not during their standout song “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.” Singer Joni Mitchell was invited to participate in the Woodstock Festival with C.S.N. However, she could not make it due to a pre-engagement to appear on “The Dick Cavett Show.”
