Joe Cocker Made It With a Little Help From His Friends

Joe Cocker released his debut album “With a Little Help From My Friends” four months before his Woodstock appearance. He was the first scheduled performer to hit the stage on Sunday morning, followed by his backing group, “The Grease Band.”
Cocker electrified the audience with 85 minutes of playing with his band. He closed his performance with a cover from The Beatles, also the name of his debut album. Towards the end of his set, there was a heavy downpour, and the singer was soaking wet. And when he took off his tie-dye top, he said the colors had stained his chest.
