Nick and Bobbi Ercoline met in February 1969, the young couple in love headed to the Woodstock Festival later that year. The lovers would unknowingly become one of the most famous couples of the hippie era.

A photographer caught this moment of the duo, resting in each other’s arms in a blanket to keep themselves warm. The compassionate moment ended up being used for the festival’s album cover. Despite the festival being a rougher experience than they expected, they said they have no regrets, and the two are still together to this day!
