The Aftermath

The aftermath of Woodstock on Max Yasgur’s dairy farm was quite a sight to see. The grounds were covered in trash, with the farmlands similar to a sea of mud after the rainy weather. The concert became a free for all due to a lack of security, so there was a lot more mess than expected.
Following the concert’s end, the clean-up operation was surprisingly quick and thorough. There were 8,000 volunteers who had turned up to clean up and restore the land to how it was. This is a true feel-good ending after a feel-good weekend.
