Peace, Love, And Flower Power

It has been over 50 years since the legendary Woodstock Music Festival of ’69. Many people have not forgotten how the event has made a significant impression on the ’60s peace movement. It is estimated that over 400,000 people gathered together to celebrate their love for music over three days.
Two experienced concert promoters, Michael Lang and Artie Kornfeld, came up with the idea of a concert marathon. They promoted the Woodstock Festival to be “3 days of peace and music,” which it did end up being. However, it didn’t all go exactly as they planned.
