A Yummy Summer’s Day

Just like unicorns, dragons are considered mythical creatures, although the latter emerge in folklore and history in a multitude of cultures around the world. Even though we find dragons in the animal kingdom on earth, they are not the same large, fire-breathing creatures with wings as portrayed in fairytales and fiction.

Take, for instance, bearded dragons, also referred to as pogona, a magnificent reptile of bright color. Despite not looking like the friendliest of beings, bearded dragons are great pets, even for kids, as they are delicate and obedient, according to Reptile Direct. They usually eat mealworms and crickets, but clearly, the one pictured here is enjoying a yummy blueberry on its master’s lap on a nice summer day.
