President George Weah – Mercedes-Benz S-Class

President of Liberia and former professional footballer George Weah took office in 2018. He is the first African to make a career move from sports to politics. Despite being a famous athlete, his initial trial entry to run for the Presidential seat in 2005 was unsuccessful. After his continued perseverance, he managed to finally defeat Vice President Joseph Boakai for the role. 

This bulletproof Mercedes sedan is the President’s vehicle of choice. He garnered unwanted attention for purchasing four of these despite his plans to cut back on spending. Weah appeared at the State of National Address at the Capitol in January 2022 for his 5th annual message.
