Former President Lyndon B. Johnson – Amphicar

Lyndon B. Johnson preceded John F. Kennedy for the Presidential seat after his assassination in 1963. He is known to be one of the few heads of state to serve in all elected offices. He campaigned strongly on building the nation’s economy and poverty. Johnson managed to succeed in helping many Americans to rise above hardship. 

It is rumored that his favorite vehicle was the Amphicar. It looked like any other, but its feature of driving on the water made it more special. Johnson would often prank his passengers by driving into the lake, claiming his brakes were not working! It terrified them, not knowing of its water float design.
