President Muhammadu Buhari – Mercedes-Benz S650

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, was previously an Army General Major before he took office in 2015. He served as a military leader of the state after the coup d’etat in 1983, which outed former President Shehu Shagari. The current President has mentioned he takes full responsibility for past events and refers to himself as a ‘converted democrat.’ 

Buhari celebrated in 2019 after his re-inauguration with a new fleet of vehicles. He upgraded to the Mercedes-Benz S650 with bulletproof modifications. In 2021, he announced the launch of the country’s digital currency, eNaira, in hopes of increasing Nigeria’s GDP.
