A Strange Garter

As far as strange wedding moments go, the one in this picture takes the prize. If you are unaware, there is a wedding tradition where the husband removes the garter belt and throws it to the crowd of single men at the wedding. Whoever catches this belt supposedly receives lifelong blessings in their love life.

This bride and groom decided to add a touch of hilarity to the moment by exchanging the garter for an oversized garment that can fit more than one person for sure. Perhaps they intended on bringing people closer together in the garment itself! Regardless, a solemn wedding tradition treated lightly definitely brought an extra spark to the couple’s special day.
