Brian Williams – From Notable Broadcaster To Untrustworthy Reporter

After 11 years of anchoring a daily self-titled program at NBC Network, Brian Williams would soon switch to a competitor station to work as a breaking news reporter following a suspension by his first employer. Williams was let go after network executives discovered that he had lied about a story he covered in Iraq.
The broadcaster reported his helicopter had gotten hit, which was later contradicted by an engineer with the newsman at the time of the alleged incident. Brian would later admit to the misrepresentation of facts and apologize, but his flagrant dishonesty already damaged his journalistic credibility.
