Paul Reubens – From All-Round Entertainer to Public Offender

Paul Reubens was at the peak of his fame in the late ’80s due to his versatile skill set. He had found success in acting, producing, and writing. But most notably, Rubens did many entertaining and informative shows for children that added to his popularity among an ever-increasing age group.

But the early ’90s saw a change of fortune for him when he got accused of public indecency. That incident started a downward spiral for Paul, and he had to spend a couple of years serving time. He hasn’t been able to make a comeback since then.
