An Embarrassing Situation!
Rainy days are challenging for pedestrians just as much as they are for motorists. When strolling along the side of a wet road, pedestrians risk getting splashed by passing vehicles. An experienced driver should know that passing through puddles requires extra attention so as not to soak pedestrians standing nearby.
We do not know if this was accidental or on purpose. Splashing water at someone on purpose is impolite and inconsiderate, and if a driver purposefully does this, he might face “careless and inconsiderate driving” penalties. If the motorist in this image had slowed down at the puddle, this entire situation would have been avoided.
