Paying Attention Is Important

The act of refueling a vehicle is so commonplace that we probably don’t give it much attention unless, of course, we ever manage to leave the gas station with the nozzle still firmly embedded in the tank. Consider yourself too smart to do something so silly, right? Everyone else who had a gas hose dangling behind their vehicle felt the same way. There’s no way the car’s owner ever expected to end up as one of those.

Taking off with the fuel nozzle isn’t particularly risky, thankfully. In the event that the gas pump line is yanked with excessive force, a break-away mechanism has been built in.
