Souls Of Christmas Past, Present, & Future

They say Santa is always watching, but could Santa carry souls too and attach them to his beard? The more one looks at this picture, the more sinister it gets, but still, it makes one not want to look away. This is definitely not what we had in mind when we said Christmas “spirit.”

To be fair, this picture seems like someone took it out of an ancient cautionary tale for naughty children, which would go: “There was once a man who would carry toys for children, but he only gave them to nice children. When he found naughty children, he would tell them to touch his beard, and as they did, their souls became one with him”—absolutely shudder-inducing.
