Ron Howard – 1970 VW Bug

We all have that one thing from our childhood that brings us fond memories. So no matter how much time passes, we remain unwilling to part with that item. Famous filmmaker and actor Ron Howard is no different. Which explains why he’s still often seen driving this white 1970 VW Bug.

Howard has had a lot of exciting experiences with this car. Having bought it at age 16, he’s described the car as the first car he ever loved. In this same VW Bug, he also courted his wife, Cheryl Alley, before they were wed in 1975. In 2022, Howard helped produce the documentary film “We Feed People.”
