J.K. Rowling – $1 Billion

British movie producer and author J.K. Rowling is one of the affluent ladies with her $1-billion fortune. She is the brains behind all seven Harry Potter series of books. Within 24 hours of their release,  the last two editions  – Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – sold 9 and 11 million copies, respectively. J.K. Rowling, Malala Yousafzai, and Cardi B were some of the women that the USA women had honored as they faced England on the SheBelieves Cup in March 2019. Each lady of the team wore a shirt with the name of the lady who inspired them.
