The Pilot’s Cockpit, Where Life Is Easy…

Pilots, believe it or not, do sleep in flight, and they are permitted to do so, too. They must, however, obey rigorous regulations before falling asleep, either by selecting “Controlled Rest” or “Bunk Rest.”

The pilot chose the Controlled Rest option, and he’s getting some shut-eye right in the cockpit. He must have had a short flight because he would have preferred the Bunk rest option and slept in the passenger cabin on a seat assigned particularly for pilots. We now have a clearer grasp of what’s going on in the above shot, and it no longer causes us any concern.
