Ken Bruce – Radio Presenter, £365K

Ken Bruce is another BBC old-timer, and the network rewards his effort with £365K yearly. His radio presenting career began in Scotland when he replaced David Finlay as the announcer of Scottish Dance Music programs. And that first experience must have been so enjoyable that he focused the rest of his hosting career on music-based programs.

After leaving Radio Scotland, he got a new opportunity at BBC Radio 2. And in 1992, he took over the “Mid Morning Show,” a slot he holds to date. Bruce is also a presenter for Radio 2’s “Live in Hyde Park” and the Eurovision song contest. In 2021, he was a contestant on “Celebrity Chase.”
