It was in 1986 when she retired from modeling to pursue a career in music. How does Phoebe Cates manage to look so fresh and youthful in her mid-50s? Phoebe used to be an actress and a singer who abandoned the entertainment world and entered retirement in 2001. She did work on one project in 2015, a video game called Lego Dimensions. Cates is most famous for her roles on Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins.
