Tom Hanks Got Splashed On Air

If we had to guess, when Tom Hanks agreed to be interviewed on the American talk show “Conan O’Brien,” he had no idea he would end up drenched in water. After the actor remarked on the beautiful ocean scenery behind the studio, O’Brien told him to keep an eye out for any breaching whales.

They began debating the topic, at which point a massive whale breached in the background, generating a splash that was matched by a real-life water spray that soaked Hanks. For the benefit of the audience, Hanks did act the part. O’Brien, for his part, also soaked himself with a cup of water to even things out.
