Lauren Laverne – TV Presenter, £395K

Lauren Laverne didn’t always envision herself as a television presenter or radio host. There was a time in her life when she believed her calling lay solely in music. Of course, such determination was helpful during her time as the lead singer of the four-piece band, “Kenickie.”

But even as they released top-40 singles, the band’s popularity was best felt during their TV appearances. So it wasn’t difficult for Laverne to transition from music to television. She’s presented shows like “The Culture Show” and “10 O’Clock Live,” so a £395K salary isn’t unexpected. And in 2022, she was announced as the host of the Sky series, “The Big Design Challenge.”
